A 12-year-old child who went missing on Thursday afternoon has been found, Toronto police say.
Police provided the update on social media shortly after 2 p.m.
They said the child was located at around 1:40 p.m. in good health. Police added that paramedics were ordered to check the child out as a precaution.
There is no immediate word on where the child was found.
During the search, a command post was set up at Samuel Hearne Middle School, located near Pharmacy and Denton avenues.
