Two suspects from Toronto have charged after police executed a search warrant as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation in the City of Dryden.
Ontario Provincial Police raided a residence on Clearwater Crescent in the community just after 11 a.m. local time.
Police found cash as well as evidence of drug trafficking.
As a result, a 28-year-old man from Toronto was charged with possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5,000, violating probation, destroying or damaging property and obstructing police.
And a 29-year-old Toronto man has been charged with possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and resisting arrest.
The investigation was led by the Dryden OPP community street crime unit, with help from the OPP North West Region emergency response team, canine unit and members of the Dryden OPP.
