A man in his 20s has been arrested after Toronto police responded to reports of gunfire inside an apartment building in city’s west end early Sunday morning.
Officials say officers arrived at around 6:07 a.m. to reports of a person with a gun in the Weston Road and Lawrence Avenue West area.
Investigators located evidence of gunfire inside an apartment building stairwell.
No injuries were reported.
Police say a firearm has been recovered.
The investigation is ongoing, and no further information has been released.
