Another messy and sloppy day, with fluctuating temperatures and more snow across the GTA. CP24's Beatrice Vaisman is speaking with people downtown.

A special weather statement for Toronto has ended.

Environment Canada issued the advisory on Wednesday afternoon, advising of flurries, at times heavy, which could reduce visibility and cause hazardous driving conditions.

“Flurries off Lake Huron will impact central Ontario and the northern Golden Horseshoe,” the statement read

“Road conditions are expected to be difficult due to sudden reduced visibilities in the snow. Prepared for deteriorating travel conditions. Allow extra time for travel.”

The advisory has since been lifted.

The temperature will dip to a low of -11 C tonight, feeling like -18 with the wind chill overnight.

On Thursday, it will be mainly sunny with a high of -2 C and a wind chill of -18 in the morning and -6 in the afternoon.

Sunny conditions are also in the forecast for Friday with a high of 5 C.
