Toronto police investigating stabbing in east end that left man in his 30s injured

Toronto police are searching for a suspect after a man was stabbed in the east end early Saturday morning.

Police said they received reports about a fight and a possible stabbing in the area of Danforth and Carlaw Avenues at 2:30 a.m.

Officers did not locate a victim at the scene but later learned that a man in his 30s suffering from a stab wound attended a hospital, police said.

His injuries were deemed non-life-threatening.

No suspect information has been released. The circumstances that led to the stabbing are not known.
