Police have released an image of a suspect in a stabbing in Toronto’s Greektown neighbourhood over the weekend.
It happened at around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday near Danforth and Carlaw avenues, police say. The victim and the suspect had a “brief physical altercation” which led to the victim being stabbed, investigators say. The suspect was last seen fleeing northbound on Carlaw Avenue, investigators say.
The victim was brought to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect is described as about 30-years-old, six-feet in height, with a medium build, black hair tied in a top bun and a short black beard.
