Pedestrian struck by vehicle in Scarborough

A man is in hospital after he was struck by a vehicle in Scarborough overnight.

Emergency crews were called to the intersection of Pharmacy Avenue and Comstock Road, near Victoria Park and Eglinton avenues, just before 12:30 a.m.

Paramedics initially told CP24 that the pedestrian’s injuries were life-threatening, however police later said their condition has stabilized.

The driver remained at the scene.
