TTC service resumes on Line 2 after morning rush hour shut down

Published:

Subway service has been suspended over eight stops on Line 2 Thursday morning, the TTC says.

Regular subway service has resumed on Line 2 after an injury at track level stopped trains during the morning rush hour Thursday.

Commuters were forced to board shuttle buses between Jane and Ossington stations on the Bloor-Danforth Line for nearly an hour-and-a-half after the service suspension was announced.

The TTC said that trains were back up and running on the eight-stop stretch just before 10 a.m.

No other details about the incident that caused the disruption have been released.
