Metrolinx says Union Pearson Express service has resumed after being taken offline Thursday morning due to “unplanned track work.”
“The repair work is now complete and UP Express has resumed its regular operations,” Metrolinx said in an update Thursday evening.
“There may be longer than normal wait times as the regular schedule resumes.”
GO shuttle buses had been operating on the UP Express line between Union Station and Pearson airport earlier in the day after overnight testing identified track issues that required repair work between Weston Station and Pearson.
