Woman stabbed ‘multiple’ times inside Scarborough residence

A woman has been seriously injured in a stabbing inside a family residence in Scarborough, late Saturday morning.

Toronto police say officers responded at around 11:50 a.m. to reports of a stabbing near Manse Road and Lawrence Avenue East.

Police say the incident happened inside a residence.

An adult female victim suffered “multiple stab wounds” and is being treated by paramedics.

An adult male suspect, who police revealed to be 30-years-old is in custody.

Investigators say all parties involved are related to each other.
