Hamilton man facing charges in connection with violent sex worker assault: police

Hamilton police have charged a 33-year-old man in connection with a series of allegedly violent sexual assaults against female sex workers, and investigators believe there may be more victims.

In a news release issued Tuesday, police said that the suspect arranged to meet the female sex workers in the central Hamilton area and became “physically violent” during these interactions.

On March 15, they Hamilton resident Paul Kimani was arrested and charged with sexual assault, aggravated assault, theft under $5,000 and mischief under $5,000.

“Investigators believe there may be additional victims and are encouraging anyone who may have had contact with Kimani to come forward,” police said.
