‘Final pathway to be part of history’: Last phase of FIFA World Cup 2026 tickets to go on sale next week

Published:

BMP Field will be officially renamed Toronto Stadium during the FIFA World Cup 2026.

Soccer fans have one last chance to snag tickets to the FIFA World Cup 2026 tournament, which will take place in Canada, the United States, and Mexico from June 11 to July 19.

Toronto is set to host six matches during the event, with the first game guaranteed to have Canada playing at Toronto Stadium on June 12.

Starting next Wednesday, at 11 a.m., FIFA will launch its last-minute final sales phase to the general public.

In this round of ticket sales, fans will be able to see what matches are available, select specific seats, and proceed with purchase. After, they will receive confirmation once their payment is completed, FIFA said in a news release.

“Offering fans a final pathway to be part of history,” this fourth and final round of tickets will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis, subject to availability, until the end of the tournament on July 19.

Ticket holders from previous phases should also note that they’ll be able to see the seats that have been allocated to them on their FIFA account starting April 1.

500M requests for tickets in Phase 3

This final phase of ticket sales follows the wildly popular, 33-day random selection draw, which ran from Dec. 11, 2025 to Jan. 13, 2026 and saw more than 500 million requests for tickets submitted.

“The unprecedented global demand for FIFA World Cup™ tickets continues to highlight the extraordinary eagerness among fans to secure their place at the greatest show on earth this June and July,” the federation said.

Organizers say this year’s World Cup is on track to surpass its previous all-time attendance record of 3.5 million, which was set in 1994.

How to buy tickets?

Tickets are available for purchasing online for the 48-day tournament.

Further, fans are being encouraged to check the official FIFA platform regularly as tickets that were temporarily unavailable may become available again.

Those hoping to buy a last-minute ticket to a World Cup game should note that tickets will also continue to be released on a rolling basis, including same-day tickets on occasion, subject to availability.
