Gas prices are continuing to fluctuate in the GTA, rising seven cents a litre on Thursday.
But another dip is expected at the pumps on Friday, when prices are likely to drop by six cents, industry analyst Dan McTeague told CP24.
“The roller coaster continues,” he said Wednesday.
Roger McKnight, chief petroleum analyst with En-Pro International Inc., said the ever-changing price at the pumps is a result of the “mood swings” of U.S. President Donald Trump, including “announcements he makes (on) the Iranian war.”
“I don’t know who to believe. He changes his mind every day so the price is going up and down depending on what he pronounces on the given day,” McKnight said Wednesday.
