Police are searching for a suspect wanted in connection with a sexual assault investigation in Toronto’s Flemingdon Park neighbourhood.
The incident happened Thursday, around 12:30 a.m., at an apartment building near St. Dennis Drive and Linkwood Lane, just east of the Don Valley Parkway.
Toronto police said an unknown male suspect approached a woman and followed her into a hallway before allegedly sexually assaulting her.
Police say the man ran away once the victim confronted him.
The woman did not sustain any physical injuries from the incident.
The suspect is described as 25 to 30 years old and approximately six feet tall with an average build and short, dark hair.
Police said he was last seen wearing a brown hoodie, a dark blue zip-up jacket, and light brown shoes with white soles.
Toronto police are asking anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
