Four members of the same family are each facing numerous charges after police located two firearms in North York.
Toronto police say on March 24 officers from 31 Division’s Major Crime Unit conducted a search warrant at a residential address and on a vehicle near Keele Street and Finch Avenue West.
Investigators allege a loaded firearm was tossed off the balcony during the raid. That gun was subsequently found below the balcony, they said.
A second firearm was also located in the vehicle, said police.
Joshua Parag, 25, Wendy Parag, 55, Derek Parag, 56, Jasmine Parag, 21, all of Toronto, have each been charged with several firearms-related offences.
They were all scheduled to appear in bail court on March 25.
