Subway and GO Transit closures could make it harder to get around the city this weekend

Published:

Planned work being undertaken by both the TTC and GO Transit could make getting around the city a little more difficult for some residents this weekend.

Subway trains will not be running between Jane and Ossington on Line 2 throughout Sunday, with full service not expected to resume until 6 a.m. on Monday.

The closure is required for signal work but the TTC says that shuttle buses will be servicing the impacted stations.

Meanwhile, there is no GO Train service between Bramalea GO Station and Union Station on the Kitchener line this weekend due to critical track work.

Metrolinx says that GO replacement buses will take customers from Bramalea GO Station to the Hwy 407 Bus Terminal where they can connect to TTC,

No GO service will be provided at Bloor, Mount Dennis, Weston and North Etobicoke GO stations.
