A man is wanted after one person was choked and thrown to the ground in separate incidents in East York last week.
Toronto police said they were initially called to the area of Lumsden and Woodbine avenues on Sunday following reports that a man had threatened another person during a conversation.
Further investigation determined that the two were also engaged in a verbal dispute on March 25, and it escalated, resulting in the man choking the other person.
A day after that, another verbal dispute between the two ended in the man allegedly striking the person and throwing them to the ground.
Police said the man also made threats to the victim during the assault.
In a news release on Monday, they identified the suspect as 28-year-old Mario Norbert Fajko.
He is wanted for two counts of uttering threats, death or bodily harm, assault, and assault/choking.
Fajko is described as being five-foot-three with a medium build, dark hair and dark facial hair.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
