Woman, 96, seriously injured in Regent Park collision: Toronto police

A 96-year-old woman has serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, following a collision in downtown Toronto’s Regent Park neighbourhood on Monday afternoon, police say.

The crash happened around 4:10 p.m. near Dundas Street East and Sackville Street.

Toronto police say the senior was struck by a vehicle and was rushed to the hospital.

Officers add that the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.

Roads in the area were closed as police investigated but have since reopened.
