A 21-year-old motorcyclist is dead following a collision in Scarborough, Sunday afternoon.
Toronto police say the crash happened at around 3:05 p.m. in the Danforth Avenue and Byng Avenue area.
Investigators say a vehicle, identified as a Toyota Highlander was travelling eastbound on Danforth Avenue and attempted to make a left turn into a plaza when it was struck by a westbound motorcycle.

Police say the rider, a 21-year-old man, suffered life-threatening injuries and was later pronounced dead in hospital.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
Insp. Errol Watson said it is too early to determine if weather played a role in the collision.

Traffic Services officers are continuing to investigate and are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has video to come forward.
Danforth Avenue remains closed between Byng Avenue and Robinson Avenue.
