Toronto Blue Jays fans planning to scarf down loonie dogs at Rogers Centre tonight will be paying even less than what they normally do for the deeply discounted ballpark food.
To commemorate the first regular season game in Blue Jays history at Exhibition Stadium 49 years ago today, hot dogs will be up for grabs for $0.77.
The first 15,000 fans through the gates will also get a commemorative ticket of the 1977 game, when the Blue Jays took on the Chicago White Sox.
BJ Birdie, the Blue Jays’ first ever mascot, will also be at the WestJet Flight deck for fans to snap a photo with.
The Jays are continuing their series against the Los Angeles Dodgers after a 14-2 defeat in the opener of the series on Monday night.
It was the Dodgers first game in the city since winning Game 7 of the World Series last fall.
There are still tickets up for grabs at face-value for Tuesday’s evening game, with seats in the 200-level starting at roughly $200.
