Toronto police have released a photo of a suspect who allegedly followed a 13-year-old girl while she was walking home in the city’s east end on Monday.
Police said they got a call for a criminal harassment in the area of Swanwick Avenue and Hannaford Street, south of Gerrard Street East, at 4 p.m.
The suspect allegedly blocked the girl on the sidewalk and when she passed him, he continued to follow her.
Police said the girl fled the area and called 911.
The suspect is described as five-foot-10 with a medium build and shoulder-length hair. Police said he was last seen wearing a dark-hooded sweater, blue jeans and black shoes.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
