Police are searching for a male driver who allegedly got into a fight with another driver in Toronto’s east end, boxing him in with his vehicle and producing a gun.
The incident happened in the Beach Hill neighbourhood, near Gerrard Street East and Woodbine Avenue, in the early morning hours of April 3.
Toronto police said they were called to the area at about 12:15 a.m. after receiving a call for a “suspicious” incident.
Investigators say a man driving a white Chrysler Pacifica got into an altercation with the driver of another vehicle.
The man then allegedly used his vehicle to block the victim’s vehicle from moving, before exiting the vehicle and producing a firearm.
The suspect then got back into his vehicle and fled the scene, police said.
No injuries were reported to police.
The suspect is described as having an olive complexion, approximately 40-years-old and bald, with a beard. He was last seen wearing a green sweater at the time.
An image of his vehicle has been released.
This firearm investigation is ongoing and anyone with further information is asked to contact investigators.
