Toronto Blue Jays fans disappointed with the team’s sixth straight loss can take comfort in an off-the-field record they broke Tuesday night.

Fans purchased an eye-watering 102,202 hot dogs on the second Loonie Dog night of the season, an ongoing promotion where the snack is sold for just $1 during Tuesday home games.

Last night’s promo was especially appetizing for fans as the dogs were on sale for just 77 cents to mark the Jays’ inaugural game on April 7, 1977.

The previous Loonie Dog record was set on Aug. 26, 2025, when fans bought 96,633 hot dogs.

While fans celebrate their record-breaking appetites, the Blue Jays head into their Wednesday night matchup against the Los Angeles Dodgers with a 4-7 record and a roster plagued by injuries.

Toronto will look to avoid the series sweep against the Dodgers in a World Series rematch before they host the Minnesota Twins on Friday.
