Man in 70s struck in Toronto’s west-end, rushed to hospital

Police investigating after a pedestrian was rushed to hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Toronto’s west end (CP24 photo).

A pedestrian has been rushed to hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Toronto’s west end.

Police say officers responded at around 7:56 a.m. to reports of a collision in the Scarlett Road and Lawrence Avenue West area.

Police say a “male pedestrian in his 70s” was transported to hospital via an emergency trauma run by paramedics.

In an email to CP24, paramedics say the injuries are believed to be serious, non-life threatening.

The vehicle involved remained at the scene.
