A stretch of Highway 404 in Markham has reopened after it was closed on Friday afternoon due to debris spilled by a truck.
In a post on X, police said a truck left behind a trail of large and small stones on the northbound lanes of the highway between 16th Avenue and Major Mackenzie Drive.
The highway had to be closed for several hours as crews cleaned the road.
