A pedestrian has been taken to hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Scarborough on Friday afternoon.
Toronto police say a call came in at 1:18 p.m. for a collision in the area of Kingston Road and Midland Avenue.
The pedestrian, a 25-year-old woman, sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries, Toronto paramedics say.
The driver remained at the scene, police say. The circumstances that led to the incident are under investigation.
