A man wanted in connection with a random assault on a TTC streetcar last month has been arrested, Toronto police say.
On the evening of March 16, police say an unknown man randomly punched another person in the face while they were on board a streetcar.
The man then allegedly kicked the victim, causing him to fall out of the open streetcar door and onto the transit stop median.
Police say the victim was later taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Investigators released a photo of the suspect a week later, and on Friday, the suspect, 47-year-old Shaun Dwayne Eubank, was arrested.
He has been charged with assault causing bodily harm and failure to comply with a probation order.
