The Toronto Maple Leafs played catch with the Toronto Blue Jays on Friday before their final three games of the NHL regular season.

Maple Leafs players, including Max Domi and William Nylander, took the field at Rogers Centre during batting practice and chatted with some Jays players, among them Kevin Gausman, Ernie Clement, and Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
They then put on their baseball gloves and toss some balls on the field.

The Leafs had the day off while the Blue Jays are set to begin a three-game homestand against the Minnesota Twins.
Some Blue Jays players have gone to watch the Leafs play at Scotiabank Arena in recent weeks, including the night before their home opener.
While the Blue Jays’ 2026 campaign is now in full swing, the Leafs’ disappointing season is winding down. For the first time since the 2015-16 season, Toronto will not play in the Stanley Cup playoffs.
The Leafs will face the Florida Panthers and Dallas Stars on Saturday and Monday at home and will finish the season in Ottawa against the Senators.
The Blue Jays hope to continue their winning ways after ending their six-game losing streak on Wednesday against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
After a 3-0 start to their 50th season, Toronto lost their next three series against the Colorado Rockies, the Chicago White Sox and the Dodgers.
They’ve also been plagued by injuries. The Blue Jays will be without Addison Barger and Alejandro Kirk for the next few weeks while starting pitcher Cody Ponce, who was signed during the offseason, is expected to miss the remainder of the 2026 season.
