Three women were injured in a shooting in North York early Saturday morning.

Toronto police say officers responded to a call in the Jane Street and Sheppard Avenue West area at approximately 12:12 a.m.

Police allege two unknown male suspects in a vehicle opened fire on another vehicle before fleeing the scene.

The victims then drove themselves to hospital, where officers located three women in their 20s suffering from non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators say two of the victims were struck by gunfire, while a third was injured by broken glass.

The suspects are described as two Black males, between 20 and 30 years old, standing approximately five-foot-five to five-foot-seven, and wearing dark clothing.

The investigation remains ongoing.
