Two suspects have been arrested, and police are still looking for six others wanted in connection with a downtown Toronto fight last year that injured three people.

In an update on Tuesday, police released the identities of all eight suspects involved in the incident near King Street West and Peter Street in the early morning hours of Nov. 16.

Two groups of men became involved in a “large fight,” police said.

The fight broke out after one group, which had eight members, allegedly assaulted three men.

Police said the victims sustained serious injuries. The suspects fled the area in an unknown direction.

Last month, investigators released images of the eight suspects, leading to their identification.

Police said 32-year-old Cody Sears of Peterborough and 30-year-old Jadon Griffith of Ajax have been arrested and charged with assault and two counts of assault causing bodily harm.

The other seven outstanding suspects have been identified as 33-year-old Brandon McIlmoyle of Peterborough, 35-year-old Austin Wyrick of Newcastle, 30-year-old Cody Barry of Peterborough, 27-year-old Chad Isbell of Peterborough, 31-year-old Rukshan Nanayakkara of Ajax and 40-year-old David Albert of Peterborough.

They are all wanted for assault and two counts of assault causing bodily harm. McIlmoyle and Albert are also wanted for failure to comply with a probation order.
