Meghan Trainor has cancelled her entire tour, including a planned date for Toronto later this spring.
The “Get In Girl” tour was slated to kick off on June 12 in Clarkston, Mich., with a performance in Toronto on June 16 at the RBC Amphitheatre.
In a post to her Instagram stories, the “All About That Bass” singer said she had some “tough” conversations before arriving at the decision to scrap the tour outright.
“Balancing the release of a new album, preparing for a nationwide tour, and welcoming our new baby girl to our growing family of five has been more than I can take on right now, and I need to be home and present for each and all of them at this time,” the pop star wrote.
Trainor welcomed her third child, Mikey Moon Trainor, with her husband, Daryl Sabara of “Spy Kids,” in January.
“I know this will come as a disappointment to my fans, and I am so sorry to let you down. But I know this is the right decision for my family and me right now,” the singer said.

Fans who bought tickets will receive a refund to whatever method of payment used at the time of purchase, according to a cancellation notice on Ticketmaster. The ticketing platform said refunds should appear within 14 to 21 days.
Ticketmaster reminds anyone who had tickets transferred to them that the refund will go to the person who initially purchased those tickets.
