A home in Scarborough was struck by gunfire early Sunday morning.
Toronto police say the incident happened shortly before 5:30 a.m. in the area of Chester Le Boulevard and Morecambe Gate.
“A firearm was discharged towards a residential address striking the front door area,” officials wrote in a post to social media.
There is no word of any injuries and no description of any suspects.
Police say an investigation is ongoing and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
