Rider of mobility scooter taken to hospital after being struck by vehicle in The Junction

One person has been transported to hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle while riding a mobility scooter in The Junction.

Toronto police said they were called to Dundas Street West and Brad Street, near Dupont Street, around 2 p.m.

One person was subsequently transported to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Dundas Street is blocked in the area as officers investigate the collision.
