Hamilton police have arrested a man wanted in connection with two armed robberies that took place months apart.

Police allege the suspect robbed the same convenience store at knifepoint in two separate incidents.

The first robbery took place in December 2025 and the second occurred April 10, according to police.

On April 16, members of the Hamilton police BEAR unit executed a search warrant at a residence in the city’s east end. Officers allege evidence relevant to the investigation was located during the arrest.

Trevor Doiron, 39, of Hamilton, has been charged with multiple offences, including two counts of disguise with intent, robbery with intent to steal and robbery with a weapon or imitation.
