Some Toronto drivers are facing a very slow commute on Wednesday morning as ongoing issues on the eastbound 401 snarl traffic.
Two right express lanes are blocked on the eastbound 401 at Victoria Park, bringing traffic to a grinding halt in the area.
“You can see nobody is getting anywhere very quickly,” Traffic Specialist Meital Sperling said Wednesday.
She said an earlier problem on the eastbound 401 from Hwy. 407 to Hwy. 400 has since cleared but has created “a mess” when it comes to traffic congestion.
“You definitely need extra time as you make your way out this morning,” she said.
