A man is in hospital with serious injuries following a crash in Toronto’s east end.
The collision happened on Wednesday night in the Upper Beach area, near Gerrard Street East and Hannaford Street.
Toronto police said they were called to that area just after 9 p.m. for reports of a two-vehicle collision.
They said one vehicle went into a pole, which has since fallen down.
A man was transported to trauma centre with serious, non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Gerrard is currently closed between Victoria Park Avenue and Main Street. Motorists should expect delays in the area and are being advised to use alternate routes.
