Police are investigating after the driver of a vehicle hit two pedestrians in Mississauga late Wednesday night.
It happened near Lakeshore Road and Beechwood Avenue at around 10:35 p.m.
Paramedics say that one of the pedestrians was rushed to a trauma centre in critical condition while the other was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Lakeshore Road was closed between Beechwood Avenue and Hampton Court for several hours but has since reopened.
The circumstances leading up to the collision remain unclear.
