Toronto police say three men have been arrested in connection with a residential shooting in Scarborough earlier this year.
Police say that on Feb. 20, at about 10 p.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting in the Kennedy Road and Antrim Crescent area after a man arrived at a local hospital with gunshot wounds.
Investigators allege the suspects attended the victim’s home and uttered threats, but the victim refused to leave the residence.
During the incident, one of the men was shot.
Police say all three suspects were arrested on April 20.
Omran Hamid, 19, of Toronto, is charged with uttering threats, criminal harassment and possession of a loaded restricted firearm. He was scheduled to appear in court at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre on April 22.
Anawar Ali, 20, and Yasser Al-As, 21, both of Toronto, are each charged with criminal harassment and possession of a loaded restricted firearm. They are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on July 7.
