A 53-year-old woman is seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in Etobicoke early Saturday morning.
In a post to social media, Toronto police say officers responded shortly after 8 a.m. to reports of a vehicle that drove into a bus shelter in the area of The West Mall and Rathburn Road.
Police say the woman was struck during the incident.
She was initially transported to hospital via emergency run with life-threatening injuries.
However, in an update, paramedics tell CP24 the injuries are serious but non-life-threatening.
The collision remains under investigation.
