Commuters are in for a rough start on Monday morning with multiple issues snarling traffic.
The eastbound express lanes were fully closed at Kipling Avenue due to a collision but reopened just after 8 a.m, though traffic remains backed up in the area.
“The good news is the lanes are open, the bad news is it is still a crawl,” CP24 Traffic Specialist Meital Sperling said.
Another collision on the westbound Hwy. 401, meanwhile, is blocking express lanes near Hwy. 400.
“The collector lanes are barely moving,” Sperling noted.
Police said the injuries in both crashes are non-life-threatening.
“It is just a garbage start to your drive,” Sperling said.
“Spend a couple of bucks, take the 407, and you will save yourself a lot of time.”
