Kyle Douglas Prouse, 53, of Montreal.

Toronto police say they will be offering an “enhanced cash reward” for information leading to the arrest of a man who allegedly shot a security guard at a North York mall last week.

Police said the reward will be announced at a news conference at Toronto police headquarters at 11 a.m. on Monday.

Police are searching for Kyle Douglas Prouse, a suspect in a robbery and shooting at a jewelry store at Fairview Mall shortly after the shopping centre opened for the day on April 21.

The shooting left a mall security guard with serious injuries.

Police said Prouse fled the mall in a white van that was later recovered and investigators believe he then used a black Honda Accord to escape.

Police said the 53-year-old suspect is from Montreal and has ties to Toronto and Vancouver.
