Fire breaks out at nightclub on Toronto’s waterfront

Toronto fire crews are battling a blaze at a nightclub located on Toronto’s waterfront.

A fire boat was used to help douse a blaze at a nightclub along Toronto’s waterfront early Tuesday morning.

The two-alarm fire was reported outside a nightclub on Polson Pier, near Cherry and Polson streets, at around 5 a.m.

In an email to CP24, Toronto Fire said the blaze was limited to the exterior of the building and although the fire is out, crews remain on scene to protect the structure.

Police said the fire service will conduct an investigation into the cause, origin, and circumstances.

No injuries were reported.
