2 drivers taken to hospital after 2-car crash in Vaughan

Two people have been injured, one seriously, in a two-car collision in Vaughan, police say.

It happened at the intersection of Highway 7 West and North Rivermede Road, west of Dufferin Street, shortly after 3:30 p.m.

The drivers of the two cars were taken to the hospital, police say.

Images from Chopper24 show two white cars with extensive damage and debris scattered across the road.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
