A driver in his 20s after he crashed into a tree in Scarborough on Friday night.
Toronto police say they got a call shortly after 7:30 p.m. for a single-vehicle collision in the area of Goldhawk Trail and Hutchcroft Avenue, west of McCowan Road.
The driver was transported to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries, Toronto paramedics told CP24.
Police later said in an update that the man had been pronounced dead.
The circumstances that led to the crash are unknown.
