Gardiner Expressway westbound fully reopen following collision near Spadina Avenue

Delays continue on the westbound Gardiner in the downtown area following a two-vehicle collision.

The westbound Gardiner Expressway, near Spadina Avenue, has now fully reopened following a two-vehicle collision, which officials warned could cause “extreme delays,” on Sunday morning.

Toronto police say around 11:45 a.m. they were called to the scene around 11:45 a.m. following reports of a crash.

Two westbound lanes of the highway were closed while emergency crews investigated and drivers were advised to use alternate routes.

Details have not been released regarding injuries.
