The warm weather that sent Torontonians flocking to patios on Monday has now vanished and it is not expected to return any time soon.
“We’re back into the cool and unsettled weather pattern that was ever-present in April,” CP24 Meteorologist Bill Coulter said Wednesday.
“It’s expected to last through mid-month before seasonably warm weather returns.”
Environment Canada is calling for rain and a high of 12 C on Wednesday, about five degrees cooler than normal for this time of year.
“Have the umbrellas and thicker spring jackets at the ready,” Coulter noted.
Toronto may see a break from the wet weather on Thursday, but there will be no improvement in the daytime high, which is also expected to hit just 12 C.
Friday will see mainly overcast skies, rain, and a high of 14 C. More rain will come on Saturday and Sunday, with daytime highs of 15 C and 14 C on each day respectively.
