A Scarborough man is facing multiple charges after allegedly sex trafficking a woman in different cities across the province over a three-year period.

According to a news release from the London Police Service, on April 30 police were contacted by a woman who reported ongoing exploitation in relation to the provision of sexual services.

Between 2023 and April 2026, police say a man encouraged a woman to engage in sexual services for money and exercised control over her by directing where and when she worked, setting prices for services, managing online advertisements, and communicating with clients.

Police say the suspect male directed her to provide sexual services to clients in multiple cities across Ontario.

In April 2026, the woman attempted to end the relationship and requested no further contact. Despite this, the suspect male continued to attend her home uninvited.

On April 30, the male suspect transported the woman to London, where a dispute took place and resulted in damage to the victim’s cell phone.

The woman contacted police.

  • Mischief under $5,000

The accused was arrested by members of the Toronto Police Service Tuesday night and remains in custody. He appeared in London court today in relation to the charges.
