A pedestrian is in hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Scarborough on Thursday afternoon.
Emergency crews were called to the area of Lawrence Avenue East and Scarborough Golf Club Road shortly after 5 p.m.
When they arrived, police and paramedics located an adult male suffering from non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said he was subsequently taken to the hospital.
Meanwhile, the vehicle fled the scene but was later located along with the driver, police said.
There is no word on charges being laid.
