One person was rushed to hospital in critical condition following a stabbing in Rexdale late Thursday night.
It happened near Albion Road and Islington Avenue shortly before 11:30 p.m.
Police said there were reports of two people fighting and one person was stabbed.
Officers arrived to find one male suffering from stab wounds.
Paramedics told CP24 that a man was taken from the scene to hospital in life-threatening condition.
Another male at the scene was arrested, police said.
