Police are searching for a suspect after a woman was stabbing in Toronto’s downtown core on Thursday night.
According to police, paramedics were flagged down at the intersection of Queen and Bathurst streets at around 10:50 p.m. for a reported stabbing.
A woman in her 30s was rushed to hospital for treatment and her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The suspect has been described by police as a white female, who is approximately 35 years old, stands about five feet, nine inches tall, has a thin build and light brown hair and is missing her front teeth. Police said she was wearing glasses at the time.
She was last seen leaving the area on an eastbound Queen streetcar.
The investigation is ongoing.
